Stillness

I watched the world sedate itself,

and as I prayed I found myself,

opened to the moon kissed sky...

In the dark I wondered why, everything must be so hard,

I watched the world and dreamed of light.

I saw the pictures lying still,

I watched the world and tried to sleep.

Within myself I saw the cracks where all the pains of life leak through.

I watched the world sedate itself,

I prayed to God that it would end...

I watched the world, through my reflection,

I watched the world, and waved hello...

I watched the world, I said hello.

Here comes the sun...
