Athens Boys Choir

Athens Boys Choir formed in Greece in the early 2000s. Their song 'Fagette' came out in 2004 and drew attention for its direct lyrics about homophobia, which led to some public debate about the line between artistic expression and offensive content.

After that initial reaction, they kept making music that mixed traditional Greek sounds with electronic and experimental approaches. Their 2006 album 'Το Αίμα των Αθώων' moved into darker territory, and later work like the 2012 collaboration with Alkistis Protopsalti showed them working with other voices in Greek music.

They released several albums through the 2000s and into the 2010s, including 'Προς το Παρόν' in 2009 and the concept album 'Μικρές Ιστορίες για Μεγάλα Παιδιά' in 2015. The group featured Andreas Konstantinou on vocals and songwriting, along with Vangelis Dermetzis, Kostas Nikolaou, Dimitris Psarras, and Alexios V.
