B.I, born Hanbin in 1996, started writing songs and rapping around age 13. He joined YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2011 and later debuted in 2015 as the leader of the boy group iKON, which formed through the survival show 'WIN: Who is Next?'

After leaving iKON and YG Entertainment in 2019, he began releasing music on his own. His 2021 single 'Midnight Blue' was his first solo work, followed by the 2022 album 'Love or Loved Part 1.' That album included 'BTBT,' a track featuring Soulja Boy and DeVita that gained attention internationally.

His solo material includes songs like 'Remember Me' and 'COSMOS,' which show a different side from his earlier group work. He's also collaborated with artists like Tablo on 'STAY' and Colde on 'NERD.'
