Dusk clouds are coloured, a soft-faded shade of pink

It makes the blue hour look apocalyptic

In the beginning it seemed to be another grey cloud filled with ink

But the end's got a pretty cryptic charm to it, don't you think?

We try not to disturb the neighbours with our fleeting flings

But we can't quit playing

Drinking games and sharing drinks

We keep dancing to local bands with shoes off

In the living, what memories are made of

The scenario's bursting with a glowing neon kind of blue

Say you can hear my voice in your car's radio through some old tune

That's just so crazy 'cause yours taunts me on empty avenues

Like a requiem, a farewell piece to all what's new

You talk about me only through idyllic adjectives
