Bedwetter was a post-hardcore band from Brooklyn that formed in the late 1990s. The group included singer Anthony Anzaldo, guitarist Scott Schoenbrun, bassist Peter Cummings, and drummer Michael Lauriano. Their 2001 self-titled debut album featured the song 'Branch,' which got some alternative radio play and helped them find an audience.
In 2003, Anzaldo was arrested for heroin possession and entered rehab, which forced the band to cancel tours. They still managed to release 'The Pink Album' in 2005, followed by 'The Noise of Everything Dying' in 2008 and 'The Sleeping Tapes' in 2011. Other songs from their catalog include 'Fondly Eulogizing Sleep,' 'Haze Of Interference,' 'John,' and 'Man Wearing a Helmet.'
Bedwetter disbanded in 2014. Their lyrics often dealt with personal struggles, mental health, and addiction, which connected with some listeners who recognized those themes in their own lives.
