Um irlandês vai ao médico depois de ter estado doente
um tempão. O médico, depois de um exame detalhado,
olha o paciente nos olhos e diz:
- Tenho más notícias... Você está com câncer e não tem
cura. Eu lhe dou de duas a quatro semanas de vida.
O irlandês, chocado e triste, mas de gênio forte, se
recupera rapidamente e sai do consultório.
Na sala de espera ele encontra seu filho que o estava
aguardando.
- Filho, - diz o pai - nós irlandeses, comemoramos
quando as coisas estão bem, mas também quando não
estão tão bem.
Estou com câncer e tenho pouco tempo de vida. Vamos ao
bar tomar uns chopes.
Depois de alguns copos, eles estão mais alegres um
pouco. Vêm as risadas, as gargalhadas, e mais chope.
Uns amigos chegam e perguntam o motivo dessa alegria
toda. O irlandês repete a história da comemoração e
diz que está com Aids.
Os amigos estão consternados e acabam tomando cerveja
também.
Num momento em que está perto do irlandês o filho diz
ao ouvido dele:
- Pai, você me disse que estava com câncer, mas para
eles você disse que era Aids. Como é isso?
- Eu estou com câncer mesmo, filho. Eu só não quero
esse pessoal transando com sua mãe depois que eu me
for...:)
