Atado lleva en la vara
para que la dignifique,
el espamentoso dique
de un potrillo malacara.
Tira, como si jugara
con el peso de la chata,
del barro no se abatata,
ni en el asfalto patina.
Y al llamo de "Golondrina"
se afirma en las cuatro "pata"...
Su dueño: Julián Hermida,
por mal nombre "Picaflor",
medio poeta y cantor,
pero bolilla corrida.
Le ha dao más golpes su vida
que el baul de un emigrado,
por eso vive entregado
al cariño de su china,
al laburo, a "Golondrina"
y a recordar su pasado...
