Elizabeth sleeps alone

The Mississippi sun rolled on and on

She runs through fields of dreams

With untamed things that bring her home

She barely remembers the girl she was back then

Time took the years

And sometimes she thinks of the boy

But the memories fade with April's tears

She silently enters his gate
