Rose For Thorns

Oh ancient spirits of the wind

Give me the strenght to unsummon,

those thoughts

All the ghosts go to past now

One day before the rain,

I still remember,

like a sculpture before me,

but it disappeared in a trail of light

I gave you roses by the night,

and now I bleed for its thorns

For each petal, that now falls,

I scream a strong and scary wail

Another day is coming on,

and the sun... Singing low

Whispering of what is gone

But only for a moment,

then my eyes open again

Emotions whiter and die

as time passes by

I've seen a sculpture before me,

but it had no face

I've seen illusions of the real,

as candles in the wind

For each drop of blood that falls,

it paints my truth behind this seal

Another day is coming on,

and the sun... Singing low
