Now here's a little story it's all about two swingin' fleas

They was the two hippest fleas that ever lived in fleatown

One played wild piano and one played wild guitar

Now pay a little attention while I lay some flea jazz down

They was in that group cause they could blow them sounds

And they was workin' in a place called Hole In The Ground

The flea that played piano they called him Honk

And the flea that blowed guitar his mama named him Tonk

Now the boss flea said you cats just blow what you want

And every Saturday night them fleas would blow Honk'n Tonk

Now there was four pretty little fleas and they was go-go fleas

Hum they'd been imported from a rich beegle hound

Now all the hippy fleas hung out at the Hole In The Ground

they dug Honk'n Tonk and watch the go-go fleas dance around

Honk would blow twelve bars and he could sure get gone

And Tonk'd say cool daddy and start a puttin' him on

There just ain't no two fleas that could blow more funk

Than the funky sounds that come from Honk'n Tonk

Now the boss flea said you cats just blow what you want
