They built a following through underground concerts despite record labels calling their music noise. Their song 'Tributo Ao Porca Veia' became particularly well-known, though it drew accusations of blasphemy for its satirical take on Brazilian folklore.
The band's outspoken nature and provocative performances led to clashes with authorities. In 1988, a live album featuring 'Tributo Ao Porca Veia' was censored and confiscated by the government. They released albums like 'Chave do Medo' in 1985 and 'A Última Viagem' in 1987, with other songs including 'Agradecimento a Nossa Senhora do Bom Parto' and 'Milonga Rock Do Fim De Tarde'.
Prominent members included Vladimir Korg on vocals and guitar, Paulo Sérgio on guitar, Ricardo Japinha on bass, and Chico Araújo on drums. Their name referenced both a Celtic sorcerer and the word 'sortilege,' meaning spell.
