The Bug

When he was thirteen

he saw all the girls and he

saw what he was doing without

then at seventeen

he met the girl of his dreams

she said it just wouldn't work out

so he tried to bring her pretty face

she looked at him and scoffed

he wore cologne, he wrote her poems

but nothing seemed to be paying off

Then one day he collapsed realized this

couldn't last finally took the hint to get lost

though tears streamed from his eyes

to this day he still denies

that he cried the day he was tossed

It must of been a bug

or sliver from out of the sky

it must of been two raindrops

that fell directly in both eyes
