een trektocht bij nacht vol vertier
en boven de toog, eenzaam droog
hangt hij al jaren omhoog
met fierheid z'n vleugels gespreid
zijn snavel in wolken van rook
lawaai en stank, een nevel van drank
een schouwspel van licht en van klank
maar plots draait het nest op zijn toeren
lijven bewegen en zoenen,
ze schreeuwen het uit, ondraaglijk luid
"I love you, I want you, oh I need you..."
zo is ook weer alles gezegd, vannacht
de ruimte wordt draaglijk, zacht
en buiten op straat de onverlaat
die twijfelt of hij nog wel mee vliegt
