voor het bekomen van een nog lagere prijs...
Als we rijden langs die overvolle wegen
(vooral 's morgens zit dan bijna alles dicht)
komt men ze om de vijftig meter zowat tegen
grote plakkaten met een positief bericht
een snelle auto, een vakantie in de Tropen
nieuwe shampoo, nieuwe schoenen, nieuw gebit
dat zijn moderne visuele biotopen
voor wie elke ochtend in de file zit
Vorige week ging ik een platenwinkel binnen
(ik zocht muziek van één of andere Hongaar)
en ik zag daar een langbenige blondine
met in haar handen alles van De Nieuwe Snaar
"Dit is het moment" dacht ik, en ik ging een beetje nader
en inderdaad, zij wist wie ik was
"Deze C.D's", zei ze, "Die koop ik voor mijn vader,
want die zat vroeger bij jou nog in de klas....
