Louis de kruidenier, hij is het moe, hij stopt ermee
De Car'four en de Aldi duwden hem in de puree
Je vindt hun magazijnen aan de rand van elke stee
Je kunt er vlot parkeren en de prijzen vallen mee
Een overnemer vond Louis niet tot zijn grote spijt
Zijn zoon zei: pa, uw brol is veel te duur en over tijd
Geen mens kocht nog zijn zelfgemaakte hoestsiroop met vlier
zijn lichtbruine américain in roodgeruit papier
