A band from the late-80s LA punk scene that recorded 'Cause Of My Anger' and reunited in 2008.
For a quick sense of their sound, try 'Cause Of My Anger' or 'Splendid Isolation.'
Dead To Me came out of Los Angeles in 1986 with a sound captured on songs like 'Cause Of My Anger' and 'California Sun.' Their music turned up in the film 'The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years,' and they had a reputation for being outspoken, a song called 'A Day Without A War' drew criticism from some quarters. They stopped for a while but got back together in 2008.
Their first album, 'Dead To Me,' arrived in 1987, followed by others like 'Let Go' in 1989 and 'Ugly' in 1992. Keith Morris sang for the band, with Greg Hetson and Kevin Seconds on guitar and Gerry Hatch on drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
