Hij heeft het Koninklijk Paleis
Van lucifers gebouwd
Dat staat nu op de tafel

Dat staat daar week na week
Mijn man merkt niet dat ik er soms
Een poot of oor afbreek
Dat gooi ik in de open haard
Die brandt dan weer een poos
