To The Deep

This is where the world ends and we leave our friends behind

The sky is falling in stones of water, the river’s now in sight

I have thought this all my life, but wondered if you’d try

I was half asleep when my bride’s words awakened me

We were always sure that the pages would be written

Not from our hands but the words you left inside of us
