Their songs often have a humorous, satirical edge, with lyrics about history and myth. The track "Der Henker" from their 2013 album "Das Elfte Gebot" drew some criticism from religious groups for how it handled religious themes. Other songs like "Schubsetanz" and "Memento Mori" show their style.
They worked with the medieval music group Skalden on the 2008 album "Das Jahrtausendwerk."
