ihr Heiligtum wird gut bewacht.
Denn statt des schönen Venusberg
nur dickes, schwarzes Rankenwerk-
Dann kam ein Mann und sprach zu ihr:
"Du schönes Kind, jetzt bin ich hier!"
Dich zu erlösen von der Pein,
dich vom Gebüsche zu befreien.
So traf er sich mit ihr bei Nacht.
Berührt sie hier und dort ganz sacht.
Gab ihr einen letzten Kuss,
und tut dann, was er tun muss.
Er zückt das Schwert, das er verborgen,
um ihr die Plage zu entsorgen,
und erlöst sie von der Qual.
Ihr Schoss war nun ganz blank und kahl.
Er war ein Held in jenem Land.
Und allen Menschen dort bekannt.
Seine Söhne kennt auch ihr,
man nennt sie heute noch: Barbier!
