Ghost of the Robot formed in 2010 when vocalist Nathan Matthews began working with producer Chris Reeve. Their early material mixed darkwave, electronica, and industrial sounds, which led to their debut album 'Midnight Machines' in 2012. Songs like 'Angel' and 'Blocking Brainwaves' came from that period.
They followed up with 'Plastic Eternity' in 2014 and 'Escape from Evil' in 2016, the latter being a concept album. Their 2019 release was titled 'IV: Rise'. The band's catalog includes tracks with names like 'Chocolate Jesus' and 'Call 911'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
