I've spent more time planning

My wake than my wedding

Only to find that i won't be attending

Bride to be, hide and seek out for a future

Those first chapters near captured us sad bastards whole

As a token, a memoir, a story she wrote

I'm loaned a past when i need one retold

But so far it's so hard to discharge what i've barred
