Sometimes I think I've lost

What used to be my cost and currency

Hop scotch string skipper

Just another tongue twister

Resistance, resistance

The gig is up, my targets blurry but

Business is business

The blame reflects straight back at me

I was worried

Could have got ugly, pretty bad, pretty fast

Too little, too late, out of town, out of state

We were THIS close to missing THAT train

Could have got ugly

I've got so many keys to keep me company

Still I was lonely and they were never eager to talk

Till slowly it showed me

If ever stuck in stubborn sands - change the locks

And to worry now just sounds silly

I feel unworthy still unwilling to stop

Cause when it's dead on, bull's eye view head on

I'm humbled at the world's loss

It could have got ugly

We should have lost our everything

Pretty bad, pretty fast

Count my blessings born of a curse

As if everything was beautiful and nothing hurt

Now I don't worry

Those narcissists, what arrogance

A list of insignificance

Its evident that ends permit our bliss to blossom

When all our friends move onto better things

We'll be alone, but harmony is

All the more reason not to worry

I couldn't stand the static for one more second

The pull, the draw, the force that a southern coast beckoned

Filled in the distance which had ripped us aptly apart

Finished the black bear pause in a racehorse heart
