Riding down the road I found a dead man by the cemetery gates

He told me he couldn’t rest as his heart was too full of hate

He lived a thousand years to find a meaning to his life

Killed a thousand men, and now he wanders nightly, pays the price

Ancient runes and holy lies

Until fire bleeds down from the sky

I bought the dead man a beer and we drank till the sun came up

We shot the shit till it was gone and in the end didn’t give a fuck
