Archive material and source history
Hell In Asgard formed in 2003 in Ålesund, Norway, with guitarists Oddbjørn Nilsen and Ivar Ingebretsen, and drummer Eivind Nødland. They started playing music inspired by Viking history and Norse mythology. In 2008, they released their debut album 'The Will To Dominate,' which included the track 'Morning Viking Bloody Routine.'
Vocalist Asger Carlsen left the band in 2012, and Ketil Pedersen took over as the new singer. In 2015, some people criticized Hell In Asgard for using the Valknut symbol, but the band said they weren't connected to far-right groups and were just interested in Viking themes.
