I Walk the Line formed in 2005 with Joshua Tree on vocals and Noah Sparks on guitar, later adding bassist Eden Rain and drummer Zephyr Stone. They came together in Los Angeles, playing shows around the city while developing their sound.
Their debut album 'Echoes of a Broken World' came out in 2008, followed by 'Dead Seeds.' The title track from that second album became one of their most recognized songs, along with 'Drifter' and 'Ghost On A Tightrope.'
Their lyrics often dealt with mental health and social pressure, which connected with some listeners but also drew criticism. The band kept playing through that period, maintaining their approach to writing and performing.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
