They released their first album 'The Irony of Choking on a Lifesaver' in 2006, followed by 'A Sight for Sore Eyes' in 2009. That album's title track became one of their most recognizable songs, along with 'Playing God' and 'Cold And Dead' from their catalog.

Their music often dealt with personal struggles and social themes, which sometimes drew criticism for being too political. Their sound had elements of post-hardcore and metalcore, but stayed focused on Lessard's vocal delivery and the group's overall intensity.
