Invent formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s as a quartet with Aaron Behrens on vocals and guitar, Bryan Behrens on bass, Marty O'Brien on guitar, and Josh Freese on drums. Their debut album 'Bleed Like Me' came out in 2004 and included the song 'Reason To Care.' They followed it with 'The Sun Came Out' in 2006 and 'Revenge' in 2009.
The band kept touring and releasing music despite lineup changes and financial pressures.
