He's one of those X Factor winners who actually stuck around, and songs like 'Say You Won't Let Go' became genuine radio fixtures. That track hit number one in a bunch of places back in 2016, and he's kept putting out albums since, with a sound that's pretty direct pop but sometimes leans into rock. He's also been open about working through a rough patch in his twenties, which gives some of the music a grounded feel.
