Ging er eens op de kapellenjacht

Vlug ging Assepoester zich dus verkleden
Want ze had al lang naar een Prins gesmacht
Daarna gingen zij, blij en heel tevreden
Met z'n tweeen ter kapellenjacht
Maar ze wisten niet dat in de natuur een
Trouw trawant van Amor de dag doorbracht
Die de opdracht had om een pijl te vuren
Op de jagers der kapellenjacht
Assepoes zei zachtjes: "Maar Prins, ik vraag je
Wat je daar doet, is dat niet wat verdacht
Heus, mijn pettycoat en mijn kanten kraagje
Zijn geen plaatsen voor kapellenjacht!"
De charmante Prins zweeg maar stil en kuste
Assepoesters mondje heel lang en zacht
Ach, hoe zoet en vrolijk zijn de lieve lusten
Als men gaat op kapellenjacht
In het duister zag men hen huiswaarts keren
Zeggend tot elkaar: "Wel acht-duizend-acht
Acht-miljoen-miljard en nog veel meer keren
