Their debut EP, 'Here Comes the Pressure,' got some critical attention but didn't sell much. The band worked through financial struggles and lineup changes in those early years.
Things shifted with their second album, 'The Name Above the Title,' in 2002. The song '50/50 Split' from that record connected with people, a haunting ballad that helped the album find a wider audience. Other tracks like 'A Fan Speaks' and 'Affairs Of The Heart' showed their range.
