I wish you would believe me,

The evening that I saw

It was more colorful,

Than any of those paintings on the wall

It was vibrant, my eyelids were sticking to my jaw

Am I melting together or is that change of the weather?

But don’t sleep, run your hands under the faucet

You’re supposed to feel a bit weak and nauseous, I promise

Notice how the moon just shines,

And notice how your mind

And the sky are intertwined and you can fly

But stay put, it will only be a problem

When you lose your footsteps

And remember who you’re following

The seasons changed and I’ll be back,

The only fresh air here is the window cracks

You came, back when I was slipping

Because come tomorrow I’m back to normal

Lonely as I go out the front door,

Exploring like I have to but what for?

I finally found this thing, and in the midst of it,

I ran across a couple of people switching instruments

But we know, that’s how things go

No matter what I choose to do, it never seems to show
