When I walk into the office, you can tell that I am exhausted

And these complementary coffees are only making me nauseous

I have too many bosses, I avoid them when I can

Walking through the cubicles is like a game of pac-man

When I'm at the copier sloppier than a copied document

It's obvious that my body still has a couple of shots in it

I miss college, back when it was possible

To sleep until whenever cuz going to class was optional

Now I got a pocket full of schedules and calendars

And hours full of meetings without the talent to balance them

So is it my fault, if I have my tie tied wrong

With a bunch of purple circles on my eye-balls

And even if I fall, all over the floor

She really goin' record that my performances are poor?

Cuz if I'm getting laid off, I'm taking some days off

Praying that them airplanes checks start to take off

Disappointed with the position I've been appointed to

Cuz every powerpoint presentation I give is pointless

I find it funny how we dedicate all of our time and money

Just to find ways that we can save our money and time

I guess that happens a lot, this place reminds me of a twitter page

A hundred-something characters packed into a box

Yeah, we're all hoping to seem productive

Asking for a salary while we're actually doing nothing

So while you're constantly checking your comments and mail

Ask yourself why you think the u.s. Economy failed

But instead we're just staring ahead at the home page

Yo our generation is only digging its own grave

But if we all agree that we're letting the ship sink

The least we can do is hit up happy hour for a drink
