Ernesto Acher: Vuelto ya de su gira por los paises europeos, Mastropiero continúa con su problema de falta de creatividad. Vive angustiado y sufre horribles pesadillas, en especial una en la que Euterpe, su musa, luego de un tierno acercamiento, lo golpeaba duramente con una clave de sol. Apremiado por los compromisos contraídos, Mastropiero decide recurrir a uno de sus discípulos: el sevillano Rafael Brevetiro, a quien encarga una obra para el gran concierto de homenaje al segundo centenario del descubrimiento del compás de dos por cuatro. Brevetiro compuso y estrenó en el Manuela "Oda a la alegría gitana", scherzo para solaz y esparcimiento, obra que escucharemos a continuación en interpretación de Les Luthiers.
(Jorge toca la guitarra al más puro estilo gitano. Luego comienza a cantar algo que ya intentó varias veces a lo largo del espectáculo)
