Sometimes I think I’m the exception

But it's just another lame excuse to do wrong and get away with it

I’m so afraid to speak the truth, but I dare to live a lie

I live here on a slippery slope, when I step I start to slide

Someone save me from me, what I want isn’t what I need

I’m so blind I cant see, when I’m being deceived

Someone save me from me, when my reckless heart’s like a road that leaves

Me lost and wondering on these nameless streets

And when I’m run by my feelings, I am deceived

Sometimes I wish my life could be different

And I could return to the place, where I made my mistakes

But I can't erase what's been done, but hope good lessons are to come of it

Sometimes we do wrong but we keep calm, and by grace we carry on

Save me from me, when emotions guide me

I hold on tightly, to all the wrong things
