Vince Neil is best known as the lead singer of Mötley Crüe, joining the band in 1981 after meeting guitarist Mick Mars. With the group, he recorded albums like 'Shout at the Devil' in 1983 and 'Dr. Feelgood' in 1989, which became multi-platinum sellers and helped define the band's hard rock sound during that era.
He left Mötley Crüe in 1992 to work on solo material, releasing his debut album 'Exposed' the following year. Some of his solo tracks include 'Look In Her Eyes' and 'Fine, Fine Wine', though his later releases didn't reach the same commercial level as that first record.
Neil reunited with Mötley Crüe in 1998 for the 'Generation Swine' album and tour, and continued with the band on subsequent releases like 'New Tattoo' in 2000 and 'Saints of Los Angeles' in 2008. His voice remained a central part of the group's live shows and recordings through these later periods.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
