Normahl

Normahl formed in Oslo in 2019 with Christian Brøndbo on vocals and guitar, Eirik Vildgren on bass, and Alexander Hoholm on drums. Their music tends to avoid straightforward categories, mixing indie rock with experimental electronics and ambient textures. Brøndbo's vocals float over rhythms that can feel hypnotic, and the lyrics often touch on existence and consciousness.

Their track "1,2,3..." got some attention on the airwaves. Other songs like "Am Tage X" and "Blumen im Müll" show the same tendency toward atmospheric, slightly dissonant arrangements.
