De retorno a casa, la luna solloza,
mi sombra se arrastra por muros sin sol,
y yo, tambaleando con la noche a cuestas,
avanzo colgando de árbol en farol.
La luna ilumina los caminos rotos
con luz peregrina y resplandor audaz,
y mi sombra sigue por la otra vereda
para prevenirme que yo estoy de más.
A veces me paro bajo el alumbrado
para echarme un sorbo lleno de sabor.
La luna me estira su lengua dorada
