(Marcha escrita para el FPMR, grupo clandestino creado por el Partido Comunista de Chile a comienzos de los 80 para combatir arma en mano el gobierno militar. El estribillo está basado parcialmente en el transcurso melódico de "Canción para Luciano")

vuelve al combate frontal Manuel Rodríguez;

en contra del mismo tirano inmemorial.

La patria está tan mal,
Manuel la pondrá en pie
doblegando la noche sin gloria,
elevando al hombre hasta su historia,
ayudando al pueblo en la victoria
con la urgencia de su dignidad.
Al Frente Patriótico Manuel Rodríguez ven,
a conquistar con él
la vida, el pan, la paz.
Con el Frente Patriótico descubre la unidad

a las milicias rodriguistas únete

ni niegues tu mano a los que en la calle están.
Él es un claro Rodríguez por su padre,
es un Manuel y es tu hermano por la patria.

porque la patria está tan mal, el Frente la alzará,
