Pencey Prep was an indie rock band from Philadelphia that formed in the early 2000s. Frank Iero sang and played guitar, and their debut album was called "Heart in Your Heartbreak." They had a song called "Cotton Candy" that became an underground hit around 2007.
Joe Trohman played guitar in the band before leaving in 2008. Iero eventually left too, in 2012, to focus on My Chemical Romance. After that, Pencey Prep stopped making music together.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
