Qiyans Krets formed in 2009, a group of musicians who worked with traditional Arabic instruments and contemporary sounds. Their song "Lamma Bada Yatathanna" became well-known in Arabic pop around 2010.
They released several albums over the following years, including "Shouf Sahran" in 2013 and "Al-Ghaib" in 2018. Their recordings also include songs like "Adió, Querida" and "Hemingen Og Gygri."
At one point, a performance at a festival in 2011 drew some criticism after a member made a political statement on stage. The band continued working after that.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
