Letting Go

Sometimes it seems so hard to just go on

When the world is crashing down and my head is spinning 'round

It seems like I've been trying to hold a weight that I can't bear

And after falling to the ground, I see that I can't do this anymore

So now, I'm letting go

Of all that I've held captive in my soul

So I give it all to you Jesus

I know my life is in your hands, now I'm trusting in Your plan – yeah

But letting go is just so hard to do

Because when I'm not in control, oh my weaknesses unfold

But I know that you can see far beyond my scope of view

So I put my hope in You, oh yes I put my hope in You

So now, I'm letting go

This pressing weight is hard to bear

But I know you're standing by my side, through this night

And I'll never be alone
