Set a fire to all I’d hoped to

But I’m still trying to stop from tossing in my sleep

And I’ve been here before in the back of my mind

So desolate and dry

I’ve made a home in darker corners of my mind

To reminisce among the dust in the room

And I’m sure I’ll be alright

I’m sure I’ll be just fine

I still find solace in a home on haunted grounds

Where no one dares to look

A safe haven where I choose to hang my head

When the world is at my fragile skin again

Where there’s no need to pick myself from the floor

I’ve made a home in darker corners of my mind

To reminisce among the dust in the room

These pacing thoughts

With out much left

Retrace these halls to lay my mind to rest

Reminisce among the ashes of a bitter past

It’s all I’ve ever known

It’s all that I can grasp

I’ve built these walls as high as they can go to barricade myself
