Mary Lee

She was running,

running so hard,

you couldn't tell her apart from the grass.

She seemed so small,

but really she was larger

than anybody you've seen.

In Momma she found

the right surrounds.

In preschool they singled her out for her hat.

In elementary

she met her friend Mary

and from her she learned many things...

Like you're never as big as you seem.

But I've got everything backwards,

If I wasn't growing my hair out again,

It was a long walk to the back of the bus

Just to spit in the young boy's eye.

The kids all get naked when she comes to play.
