Sara Nunes is a Portuguese singer-songwriter who started in Barreiro. Her first album, 'Fora do Tempo,' came out in 1999. She's put out eight studio albums since then, including 'Flor da Pele' in 2007 and 'Eu Sou' in 2017.
Her song 'Campeão' came out in 2006 and became an anthem for the Portuguese national football team. Other tracks like 'Adeus Lodebar' and 'Bleed' show a different side of her work.
She's worked with musicians like Pedro Silva on guitar and Catarina Leal on keyboards for live shows and recordings. The 2014 album 'Sara Nunes Canta Amália' was a tribute to the fado singer Amália Rodrigues.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
