Unfaced formed in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2008, originally going by the name "Sem Face." Their debut album "A Fronteira" came out in 2011, with the title track becoming one of their most recognized songs. The band's lineup has stayed consistent with Amanda Cavalcanti on vocals, Leandro Caçóilo on guitar, Gabriel Zander on bass, and André Elpídio on drums.
They followed up with albums like "O Último Refúgio" in 2014, "Humano" in 2017, and "Verdade" in 2020. Other tracks in their catalog include "Almas Aprisionadas À Ilusão de Dualidade," "Margen de Erro," and "PERSONA."
Their music often deals with themes of identity and social commentary, which has sometimes drawn criticism. But they've kept working in São Paulo, maintaining that focus across their releases without much change to their core membership.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
