Rough At Times

When I was young thought I was special

And no obstacle in front of me could away take away my pride

When I was seven saw the shrink then I'm eleven

Things were said my mind just simply can’t unwind

When I grow up, I hoped my daddy would be proud of me

But now I’m just a chump, without a job

It’s funny how life can play games on you

When really It's just your sanity that you don’t keep in line

But as time goes by, I realize I'm not alone

Things said when you’re young, can realize your own downfall

Hoped when I grow up, I'd find a way to fill my cup

The more and more I think, that cup’s bеcome my own bad luck

10 years have passed, now I'm a big boy

And reality has gone ahead and smacked me in the face

The liability of growing up, alone, without your parents isn’t simply just a phase

Problems stack on problems and the shit you took for granted

Isn’t there no more, you try to gain control

I thank my mommy and my daddy, you’re the realest

Hope one day I can return the love you gave

But as time goes by, I realize I’m not alone
