Von Eitelkeit, so Sinnbildhaft
in Schicksalsfäden tief verwebt
seht wie euer falscher Glanz
Dann auf Wigrids Flur vergeht
Doch hinter Daunen wohnt ein Dorn,
das Engelsgift verdirbt den Born
aus dessen Quell die Weltenesche sich nährt
