José Alfredo Jiménez, known as Vavá, handled lead vocals and guitar. Miriam Núñez, called Mirim, played accordion and sang. Their work together included albums such as 'México Lindo y Querido' in 1975 and 'Serenata a la Mexicana' in 1976.
