WillXJr is a Brazilian pop-rock band from São Paulo. The group formed in 2012 when vocalist and guitarist William Simões met bassist Leandro Souza at a local jam session. They later added drummer Rodrigo Almeida, and the band's name comes from combining Will's and Junior's nicknames.
In 2016, they independently released "Coração de Leão," which became a viral hit in Brazil. That song's success led to a major label deal and their debut album "Mundo Paralelo" in 2018. Their second album "Alma de Fora" followed in 2021.
Their catalog includes songs like "Anestepoesia," "Babylon Tropical," and "Tattoo de Flor." The band has performed at major music festivals in Brazil, and some of their music has appeared in film and television soundtracks.
